Peer Review Process
Effective Date: August 1, 2025
The BitCurrency journal adopts a double-blind peer review policy to ensure the quality, integrity, and impartiality of the review process.
1. Initial Editorial Screening
-
Upon submission, manuscripts are reviewed by the editorial office to ensure compliance with the journal’s scope, formatting requirements, and ethical standards.
-
Submissions that do not meet these criteria may be returned to authors without external review.
2. Reviewer Assignment
-
Suitable submissions are assigned to at least two independent reviewers with expertise relevant to the manuscript’s subject matter.
-
Reviewers remain anonymous to authors, and authors remain anonymous to reviewers.
3. Review Criteria
Reviewers evaluate manuscripts based on:
-
Originality and significance of the research

Methodological rigor and accuracy
-
Clarity and coherence of presentation
-
Relevance of references and literature review
-
Compliance with ethical guidelines
4. Review Timeline
-
Reviewers are typically given 2–4 weeks to complete their evaluations.

5. Editorial Decision
-
Based on the reviewers’ recommendations, the editor may decide to:
-
Accept the manuscript
-
Request minor or major revisions

Reject the manuscript
-
-
Final decisions rest with the editorial board.
6. Confidentiality
-
All submitted manuscripts and reviewer reports are treated as confidential documents.
