Peer Review Process

Effective Date: August 1, 2025

The BitCurrency journal adopts a double-blind peer review policy to ensure the quality, integrity, and impartiality of the review process.

1. Initial Editorial Screening

  • Upon submission, manuscripts are reviewed by the editorial office to ensure compliance with the journal’s scope, formatting requirements, and ethical standards.

  • Submissions that do not meet these criteria may be returned to authors without external review.

2. Reviewer Assignment

  • Suitable submissions are assigned to at least two independent reviewers with expertise relevant to the manuscript’s subject matter.

  • Reviewers remain anonymous to authors, and authors remain anonymous to reviewers.

3. Review Criteria
Reviewers evaluate manuscripts based on:

  • Originality and significance of the research

  • Methodological rigor and accuracy

  • Clarity and coherence of presentation

  • Relevance of references and literature review

  • Compliance with ethical guidelines

4. Review Timeline

  • Reviewers are typically given 2–4 weeks to complete their evaluations.

  • Authors may be asked to revise and resubmit their manuscripts based on reviewers’ feedback.

5. Editorial Decision

  • Based on the reviewers’ recommendations, the editor may decide to:

    • Accept the manuscript

    • Request minor or major revisions

    • Reject the manuscript

  • Final decisions rest with the editorial board.

6. Confidentiality

  • All submitted manuscripts and reviewer reports are treated as confidential documents.

  • Reviewers must not share or discuss the manuscript with others without permission from the editor.
