1. Copyright Ownership and Submission Agreement
By submitting a manuscript to BitCurrency, the author(s) agree to the terms of this copyright policy. No separate signed agreement is required.
2. Access Model

Subscription Period – For the first 12 months following publication, the article will be accessible only to BitCurrency subscribers and authorized institutional users.

Delayed Open Access – Beginning 12 months after publication, the article will be made freely available to the public under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-SA 4.0).
3. Author Warranties
The author(s) warrant that:

The work is original, authored solely by the stated author(s), and has not been published elsewhere.

The work is not under review by any other journal.

The work contains no unlawful statements and does not infringe upon the rights of any third party.

All necessary permissions have been obtained for any third-party copyrighted material used in the article, with proper attribution provided.
4. Rights of Authors
Authors retain the following rights, including but not limited to:

Copyright and related proprietary rights (e.g., patents).

The right to use the substance of the article in future works (e.g., lectures, books).

The right to reproduce the article for personal purposes.

The right to self-archive the accepted manuscript in accordance with the journal’s deposit policy, noting the embargo period.

5. User Rights After Embargo
Once the 12-month embargo expires and the article is licensed under CC BY-SA 4.0, readers may:

6. Co-Authorship
If a manuscript is co-authored, the submitting author confirms authorization from all co-authors to agree to this copyright and license policy on their behalf. BitCurrency will communicate only with the corresponding author.
7. Royalties
Publication in BitCurrency does not entitle authors to royalties or other compensation.
8. Editorial and Publication Terms
If accepted, BitCurrency will publish the article following successful completion of the editorial process. The editors may adjust the manuscript to meet the journal’s style and formatting requirements.
